Product
Every carrier invoice, audited the day it arrives.
ShipGenius reads your FedEx and UPS invoices line by line, compares each charge against your contracted rates, and tells you the dollars you're losing — and the dollars you're owed back. No more spot-checking spreadsheets.
How it works
Three steps. Setup takes one afternoon. The first findings usually land within 72 hours.
01
Connect once
Hand over your carrier portal credentials, an API key, or — for higher-volume shippers — give your EDI analyst our SFTP endpoint. The connection is a one-time setup, encrypted at rest with envelope encryption.
02
We audit every line
Every shipment is parsed, normalized, and checked against the contract you negotiated. Late deliveries, mis-applied surcharges, address corrections, dim-weight errors — we flag them in dollars, not in vocabulary you have to translate for finance.
03
You see what to do
A weekly rollup tells your finance team what came in, what's recoverable, and which surcharges are quietly eating margin. Recoverable items are worked by our team for White Glove customers.
What the Genie check finds
Four categories, every invoice, every week.
- Unclaimed funds
- Late deliveries, billing duplicates, address-correction errors. We compute what's recoverable and (for cohort customers) file the claims with the carrier.
- Surcharge audit
- Fuel, residential, delivery-area, dim-weight, peak-season. Every surcharge is compared to your contract caps. Anything outside the band shows up in the weekly rollup.
- Contract leakage
- Discount tiers that aren't being applied, minimum charges hitting your low-weight lanes, accessorial caps you negotiated but never enforced. Quantified in dollars, on one page.
- Contract score
- Five dimensions — discount depth, surcharge exposure, minimum pressure, accessorial caps, renewal flexibility — scored 1–5 against the market. The number you bring to renewal.
What you'll see
The three surfaces your team will actually use.
We've kept the dashboard small on purpose. Three things, each answering one question your CFO already has.
Variance Findings
Every overcharge, with the math attached.
Statistical detection runs nightly over your shipments. Each finding shows the evidence on the card — not "the AI thinks," but the actual numbers.
Variance Findings
Anomalies detected across the last 90 days of your shipments. Every finding shows the math on each card.

What changed this month
FedEx residential surcharges climbed from $5.20 to $6.40 mid-month with no contract amendment — that's $1,847 you didn't sign up for. Three duplicate billing events on Ground shipments are recoverable. UPS minimum charges are increasingly hitting your sub-1-lb lane, which suggests a tier renegotiation is overdue.
Continuous, not quarterly
One audit doesn't fix it. Continuous audit does.
Carriers update rate cards mid-year. Surcharges drift. Service-failure refund windows close in days. A one-time consulting audit catches yesterday's mistakes. ShipGenius runs every week, on every invoice, forever — so the recoveries you find this month aren't the ones you missed last month.
